First Santa Claus Encounter!!

We went to the ward Christmas party last night and Maya had her first interaction with Santa Claus.... she wasn't too impressed though... maybe next year she'll be more excited although I hear that's about the age when she'll be afraid of Santa... first indifference, then fear, then excitement then back to indifference again hehehe... but hey, Christmas isn't all about Santa anyways right? What else is new? She's almost sitting up on her own and is closer to crawling then ever before, although it'll probably be another month before she actually gets moving anywhere...

I added some random pictures of other Maya moments... we want to take our first family picture this Christmas so hopefully we can get that done soon and I can post it. The first picture is of Maya getting ready for her bath and her shirt got stuck on her head and I thought it made a cute headband!!
and the last picture is Maya responding to daddy's funny faces by making a funny face of her own =)

I don't have much to say today and I figure most people viewing this blog are more interested in seeing pictures than reading a bunch of text so... have fun viewing! These are some random pictures, I'm too tired to put them in any kind of special order, not really a pro at this blogging thing yet... hopefully I'll get better with time!

I do want to note that the second picture was taken the day our little Maya received her baby blessing =) it's hard to see her dress though... but she looked so cute!

When getting Maya ready for her bath we found her ticklish spot!!! Maya's first giggle... how much cuter can you get than that?

and in this video, Maya's discovered her fist makes do for a good snack when mommy isn't close by...

First Halloween

So we really weren't planning on doing anything for Halloween, I mean she's 3 months old for crying out loud!! saying trick or treat for Maya would have been just too obvious that we were candy deprived! but at the last minute I heard that the mall was having a trick or treat thing so we improvised on a budget friendly costume!!

So, just a short 3 month's after Maya's birth we've finally gotten it together enough to start this page for the viewing pleasure of our family and friends =), It's primary purpose being to keep everyone updated on little Maya's happenings?? (ok, couldn't think of a better word...) Anyways, we'll just be posting pictures and videos for you all!!

ps. Maya was born Aug. 10, 2008, weighing 3.120 kilos and was 51 cm long... that's about 6.5 pounds and 19 inches I think... she was born with LOTS of hair right from the start as you can see =)
